On Thursdays in December, and also on Christmas Eve, there will be blog posts from some of the Princelings characters about the Yuletide Festivals at their castles.
The series starts 6th December with Willoughby (The Way West) who is now Narrator-in Residence at Buckmore, talking about the celebrations at Castle Buckmore (of course). I’m sure it’ll be a treat seeing this written in true Narrator style. In fact it could be better read aloud!
A week later, 13th December, Humphrey (also The Way West but first seen in the Prologue of Lost City) will let us into the secrets of White Horse Castle’s events in his own modest style. This is followed by Lord Pogo (who’s been promoted since we last saw him in the Princelings of the East) explaining how Castle Vexstein does things. He seems a little less rigid than Lord (now Baron) Smallweed, but still very proper!
A special treat, on Christmas Eve, Monday 24th December, we introduce the Princelings of the North – at least one of them, Princeling Dylan. He’s quite young, as you can tell by his description of Yuletide at Castle Haunn. You might like to keep an eye on the official website during the week before Christmas as there will be a short story there which features him and his brother Princeling Dougall.
Finally, on Thursday 27th we join Queen Kira at Castle Marsh to get all the latest news of Marsh’s celebrations and hear what has become of our favourite Princelings of the East, now King Fred and Prince Engineer George.
Happy Christmas reading, everyone!
