The other day some of my friends gave up playing their golf game and turned it into a blackberrying session! I admit I’ve turned a bird-watching session into blackberrying, but it pays to take a bag or two with you. Apples are just about ready now but wait a month for the later varieties.
The hedgerows yield fruit.
Blackberry and apple jam;
Add sugar and cook!
