Parties and fireworks –

People celebrate worldwide.

It’s Jenny’s birthday!

Dedicated to all my friends and family who have birthdays between 15th December and 8th January and who get a raw deal, year in and year out.  Jenny confessed to me that she didn’t realise until she was about eleven that everyone wasn’t celebrating her birthday today!  Anne, on the other hand, learnt that being a Christmas Day baby was special quite early on, since she was always singled out to join the pantomime people on stage.

Thank you all for being part of my life, and Happy New Year!

    🙂
    My brother was born
    December thirtieth and
    He claims he’s ignored.

    We just returned from
    Feasting, gifts in his honor
    I think he’s a fraud!

Today is my sister-in-laws birthday and I have a new nephew born a few days ago. Thrilled to have gotten to know you in 2013, Jemima. May your 2014 be abundantly blessed!

What a thoughtful post! My niece Holly was born on the 26th, poor girl.
    Christmas lights are dark
    But fireworks dazzle the eyes
    Welcome the New Year!
