It’s a sad release;
Victor crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
He’s well again now.
I don’t generally mention the guinea pigs on my blog, but of course Victor’s book is Bravo Victor and I never thought he’d live to see its publication. Last September I didn’t think he’d last till Christmas. But he saw in the new year, celebrated his sixth birthday, and lapped up the attention for his book. He was that kind of piggy – a superstar, but modest and gentle with it. You can read more about him and all the guinea pigs at George’s Guinea Pig World or their Facebook page.
Tuesday haiku – Victor
:(. haiku trails, Victor.
And hugs to you, Jemimz.
Holy cow. Auto-fill and no glasses (so I couldn’t actually see what I’d written). That was to be “happy trails.”
I was a bit confused, but I’m sure Vic will enjoy haiku trails 🙂 I also liked the Jemimz – hope you find your glasses soon though – mine are generally put down ‘somewhere safe’.
I’m so sorry, Jemima. He had a piece of your heart. Perfect haiku…..safe journey, Victor.
Thanks, Noelle. He was an old boy with lots of health problems. I miss him, but glad I had him for so long <3
I see you’ve chosen to go a different route using Victor has the prompt. Which is interesting as it had to be structured considering the promo you intended to do.
Here’s my take on the Haiku prompt of “victor”
Victor is winner
Unless a cheater has won
Loser is victor
