Thanks to Bruce Gargoyle, I’m picking up a lovely idea… a review of the year by completing a set of sentences with books read so far this year!  I hope you enjoy them (they won’t be as funny as Bruce’s). Titles are linked to my reviews except for Secret Life of Bees and Wonderstruck which go to Goodreads.

So far, I would describe this year as being: Wonderstruck

I’m tipping that the next big thing in Reality TV shows will be: The Secret Life of Bees

I could have cried when: The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared

I would love to have some respite from: The Observations of the Obstreperous Animals

The most unexpected thing that happened this year involved: The Scent of the Night

My non-bookish friends would say I: Just Add Salt

My motto for the remainder of 2014 is going to be: Bring Up The Bodies

The thing I am most looking forward to is: A Thousand Perfect Things

One of my favourite dreams features: Death By Ice Cream

If you looked under my couch you would see: The Lord of the Vampires

If I could no longer keep blogging, I would probably pursue a career in: The Shadow of the Pyramid

Something most people don’t know about me is: The Super Secret

Bookish Review of the Year 2014 so far…

And why not! I think Bruce got it from someone else, anyway!
