This is my first Challenge update, and I’ve read one book towards my Local Heroes target of 6.  That was Never Let Me Go, which I reviewed a week or so ago, and as I said there, it may be listed as Norfolk, but only part of the action took place there.  It still counts!

So if you’ve been dithering over how to make it ‘local’, maybe that gives you some help.

If you’ve already signed up, leave a message in the comments on how you’re doing.  If you haven’t signed up yet, put your name and the number of books you’re aiming for (3, 6, or 10) and link your blog in the linky below.

I’ve also read 3 books towards my Goodreads target, abandoned another one, and I’ve nearly finished another which got delayed with my frustration over the unfinished one.  I’ve reviewed 3 for my Mad Reviewer Challenge, and included 1 for the Oddity Odyssey!

Happy reading, but above all – have fun!

Your reading targets are going well so far Jemima. Nothing like it to stimulate the imagination.

I love how determined you are! I had planned to sign up but I now have a backlog of three books I promised to review, and am not sure how fast that’s going to go. None local, drat!

You have a whole year – well, 11 months now – to do this challenge, Noelle. Surely you can find 3 set in your part of the States? Yours and three neighbouring States?

I don’t have any yet. Still stubbornly trying to find something (besides local history) set in my town. When time runs short I’ll settle for San Francisco 🙂
