If you’re an independent author and publish on KDP, you’ll have seen this in their July newsletter.
It’s a video of authors trying to describe what it’s like to be an indie author in five words or less. I think. I didn’t watch it, since I know what it’s like for me, and I don’t need to watch a promo video for KDP. Not sure why they send it to their indie authors, really, since we all know what it’s like. But if you’d like to see it, here’s the link.
But it did make me wonder how I’d describe it – here are my five words:

I think yours says it all Jemima, but if I had to say something it might be, Dedicated to keep readers reading.

That’s great, David. Have a good week. Hugs xx
Good words, Jemima. Right now mine might be “what the heck is writing?” A lot going on around here just now! I think I wrote 1000 words while backpacking last week. My son wrote a chapter a day. A LONG chapter a day. I am humbled!
But he probably only does it on holiday!
I think mine would be “Write the best I can.”
I like that. Good luck with Gabriel – coming out soon, I think!
