Thanks to Bookhounds and I Am A Reader, I’m clearing my bookshelf again.
The Giveaway is open internationally, and the winner will have a choice of TWO of the following books – but I’m only shipping Wonderstruck within the UK because it’s a big book (with beautiful illustrations). Enter via the rafflecopter below, which closes at midnight (evening) 27th August, New York time. (I just find it easier to keep my rafflecopter on New York time).
You’ll notice a couple of things:
- I’m including a new paperback of the BookElves Anthology Volume 1 in the list (but it is from my shelf!). I’m pleased to say that the BookElves are doing a second Anthology, again suitable for Middle Grade readers (aged about 8 and upwards), which will be out in November.
- In the rafflecopter I’m inviting you to sign up for the newsletter for my new scifi series the Viridian System. Book 1, The Perihelix will be published next January, and there will be an ebook of short stories coming out in the autumn as a teaser – free! Newsletter people will be the first to get the details.
Now for the books to choose from (click on the underlined title to read my review)
- The Cuckoo’s Calling by Robert Galbraith (crime, detective)
- The Airmen: Book 1, The Pirates of Aerion by R J Ashby (science fiction)
- The Reluctant Fundamentalist by Mohsin Hamid (litfic)
- Moonfleet by J Meade Faulkner (Classic adventure/older children)
- New Selected Poems 1966-1987 by Seamus Heaney (poetry)
- The Incredible Adventures of Professor Branestawm by Norman Hunter (children/middle grade)
- BookElves Anthology Volume 1 (seven authors) (middle grade/short stories/christmas)
- For a UK winner only: Wonderstruck by Brian Selznick (middle grade/Young Adult)

Okay, that’s weird. I left a comment. Or I thought I did. Either my iPad ate it or my brain did. Not taking any bets. I believe I said that of the books you are giving away, I am most intrigued by Moonfleet.
My computer eats most of my first comments of the day. Did it give you the page heading in the comment box? Or just Page not Found? I will copy this before I press send, just to ensure it doesn’t eat it. Usually works. [and this is the second time I tried 🙂 ]
The Cuckoo’s Calling looks good!!
