Today I’m challenging all people tackling their ‘to read’ list through the #TackleTBR Readathon to come up with some books related to the four seasons.

Your challenge, if you choose to accept it is to find one book with each of the seasons in each title – not A Man for All Seasons, but one for Spring, one for Summer, one for Autumn, and one for Winter.

If you can’t find the titles including the season, you can include a book that is specifically set or related to the season.  Obviously Christmas stories relate to winter (or summer, if you’re in the southern hemisphere); The Longest Day is summer.

You can find them on your own shelf (more fun), or in your library, online, or already in your TBR list (even more fun).

THEN leave a comment with your four books below – and enter the Giveaway (which requires you to comment).  If your comment does not contain your 4 book titles, it has to have a very good excuse not to be disqualified!

You do not have to be signed up for #TackleTBR to participate.

Entries close at midnight (evening) Sunday 27th September (New York time.)

The Giveaway prize – one copy of one of my paperback books (see below), signed by me, anywhere in the world.

I’ll award a second prize of an ebook copy of one of my books to the person who comments with what I judge as having the best four seasons books, my decision is final.

a Rafflecopter giveaway

My books to choose from:

The Princelings of the East series (six books)

My reading list for this read-a-thon comprised of a bunch of bride novellas, so I could just put An April Bride, A June Bride, An October Bride and A December Bride, but I think I’ll come up with some others. 🙂

I’ve read a couple of these and really liked them–The Westward Winds series by Amanda Cabot:

    Summer of Promise
    Waiting for Spring
    With Autumn’s Return

And as a bonus, to add the winter season:
Christmas Roses, also by Amanda Cabot

    Hi,

It wasn’t really hard to find the four books with the seasons in the titles – especially summer and winter – the only hard thing was which one to choose 😉
    – Cicada Spring by Christian Galacar
    – Summer of the Midnight Sun by Tracie Peterson
    – A Beautifull Fall by Chris Coppernoll
    – SEALs of Winter: A military romance superbundle (9 different authors)

And in case I win I would prefer eBook to paper-book 🙂

I like this challenge it was really fun.

    Very inventive challenge!

Summer on the Mountain by Naramore, Rosemarie (Read list)
Winter Moon by Dean Koontz (TBR list)
Whispers in Autumn (The Last Year, #1) by Leigh, Trisha (TBR list)
Betrayals in Spring (The Last Year, #3) by Leigh, Trisha

Tempting to just use Leigh’s entire series here lol

I forgot that some authors had seasonal series… I’m now thinking of Helliconia Winter etc. 🙂

    Winter by Marissa Meyer
The Summer I turned Pretty by Jenny Han
Autumn and the City of Angels by Kirby Howell
Clementine and the Spring Trip by Sara Pennypacker, Marla Frazee

Hehe, the last one is a children’s book! It was the hardest for me ):

    Would the following work:

    Seasons of…Richie Tankersley Cusick-

    April Fools
    Summer of Secrets
    Trick or Treat
Fatal Secrets (Two sisters walk through a snowy wood, collecting pinecones for Christmas decorations.)

The last one was difficult because she doesn’t have a book with a winter title. I could sub in The Snowman by RL Stine, but I was trying for a collection from just one author. Or “Someone at the Door” – which also doesn’t have a winter title, but the cover has a snowman.

Thanks, Tressa! Nice to see so many people taking part. My reading has stalled due to a sick animal needing lots of care, but I’m on no 5, so maybe I’ll reach my goal…
