My Goodreads Challenge tally is 2 books ahead of schedule, at 52 out of 60. I’m going to make it.
Even more exciting, at the end of last month my Goodreads ‘Books read’ list passed 500!! Unfortunately, during this month, my TBR list went over 400 for the first time. Joy.
This month I have read:
- Looking for Trouble (K’Barthan Trilogy, Book 4)
- Tara Thunderbolt and the Sky Dancer Cat
- Artemis Fowl (review on Nov 7th)
- Jamaica Inn (review later)
I also read The Travel Book (reviewed last Saturday), part of the Lonely Planet Kids series, although I couldn’t find that (only the adult version) on Goodreads.
I’ve been struggling to read much this month, maybe the TBR challenge is actually bad for me. Part of it was also the drawing in of the evenings, which makes reading books (not my kindle) difficult, and most of the books outstanding on my list are paperbacks. I got through two book of the month offerings, though – Artemis Fowl for the Goodreads Great Middle Grade Reads group, and Jamaica Inn for my bookclub. I wanted to do a Goodreads Space Opera Group Book of the Month too, but how will I ever get my TBR under control if I do that? I caught up posting my reviews to Goodreads for the Mad Reviewer’s Challenge, but I haven’t posted the last two. I think I might add Tara Thunderbolt to the Oddity Odyssey, and I’ve lost count of how many I’ve read for my Local Heroes. I finally started The Rings of Saturn, but it got put aside for the Tackle TBR and of course, I haven’t picked it up again.
