When have you lost or found love?
Frankly, it’s not a subject I wish to talk about on my blog, but it is the question of the month, devised for those xxxxxxx people who go doolally in the weeks leading up to February 14th each year. As if February 14th wasn’t bad enough, they have to mooch about it for weeks beforehand, upsetting all those geeks who never have a partner in the early part of the year (if at all) and who are therefore painfully reminded of their shelf-sitting status, and are in danger of getting thoroughly depressed (did you know the suicide rates rise in spring?) whilst the rest of the human race goes on and on about LURV.
So, to Michael d’Agostini, who invented the Question of the Month, I will just say, in the immortal words of Snoopy…
BLEAAHHHH!
But if you want to get in the swing of things, go and see how other people answered the question…

Snoopy summed it up perfectly!
I had to laugh. Because for those of us married for 20+ years to a guy who just doesn’t do those things, Valentine’s Day has about as much meaning as for the singles! As far as I can tell, there’s a tiny subset of people for whom this holiday works (aside, of course, from the candy and card makers).
Though on the original question, I could probably tell a couple of amusing stories. Like the one that led up to my brother’s brother-in-law giving me a stud finder for Xmas…
This is exactly how I felt! Dismayed by the Question of the Month. Ugh – public declarations of luurrrrve. Well I’ll have to find a way to write something about it. YOu’ve done a great job 🙂
Maybe next month’s question will be more to your liking. Embrace the single life. It certainly has its benefits.

That’s how I feel about most holidays. I pretty much just want people to stop talking about it.
I agree with you and snoopy! Bleah! This time of year always makes me ill… all that sappiness!
