I’m very grateful to the BookShelf Gargoyle for once again giving me the opportunity to review my year in book titles.  I hope this is funny enough to help you over your seasonal party excesses 🙂

You can copy and paste these prompts (as I did) and add suitable titles of books you’ve read….  just give Bruce Gargoyle some credit for them!

So far, I would describe this year as being: Magyk

I’m tipping that the next big thing in Reality TV shows will be: Saturnalia

I could have cried when: Tutankhamen Speaks

I would love to have some respite from: Fireflies

The most unexpected thing that happened this year involved: A Night on the Orient Express

My non-bookish friends would say I: Smoke

My motto for 2017 will be: Up, Up and Away

I am most looking forward to: Decanting a Murder

A recurring dream I’ve had this year features: A Room Full of Bones

If you looked under my couch you would see: Forgotten Suns

If I could no longer blog, I would probably pursue a career in: Jolly Foul Play

Something most people don’t know about me is: I Am Malala

Great post Malala, but not quite up to your usual level of erudition 😉

Clever. 🙂 Did the Bookshelf Gargoyle have other “complete the sentence” prompts that you could have used? It must be fun figuring out which book title to put at the end of which sentence for maximum hilarity, sort of like Madlibs.

Not this year, although there may have been some more a couple of years back. I nicked his list last year and repeated it this (as did he last week!)

OH, I think you just gave me what I need for tomorrow’s post, since I’m not ready with anything else!
