clear your shelf 2018

The Clear Your Shelf giveaway is the best hop of the year, I think.  It comes courtesy of Bookhounds, and it gives me the chance to offload reduce the number of books on my shelf while recommending them to you!

Clear Your Shelf

It’s a necessity, isn’t it?

Those books I’ve read, enjoyed, kept a few years to read again, or acquired through other means and never read… now they are merely gathering dust.  Worse, they are taking up space other books could use. They need to be consigned to a box, and sent far away…. to you, maybe!

This Giveaway is open internationally.  The number of books in the box will depend on shipping costs, so a UK winner will get more than an EU winner, gets more than a US winner…you get the picture.  But the winner will get least one of the books from the list below that they prefer, and others depending on weight.

The options are (linked to my reviews or to Goodreads page)

I have a feeling Blood Sister may be signed by the author… but the author is great too, and gave me some suggestions to help me out of a hole, too 🙂

Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin. (Fun story: I was hosting a convention in El Paso, Texas and the first Game of Thrones book had just come out, and George had a drawing for a signed first edition. They called my name but I had forgotten what time the drawing was.)

I have friends who are total geeks for the series. I thought I’d like it, but didn’t get on with the constant change of POV. I think if you like the tv series you’ll enjoy the books 🙂

“Which of the book(s) listed would you like if you won?” I’m in the States, so my top two choices would be “Dreamwood” and “The Paying Guests,” so with luck both of those would past muster, mailing-wise, and if there were room and expense for anything else, I’m sure there are other books here that are also great!
