Insecure Writers Support Group badgeAlthough time for editing isn’t the question of the month for the Insecure Writers Support Group this month, I thought you’d be happy to know I’ve finally got my editing hat back on.

September was incredibly busy, and October looks somewhat the same, but I do have enough time to spend most mornings on the editing of Curved Space to Corsair. That’s the second in my Viridian System scifi series, and it’s now due out in January.  There’s no point trying to get it out before Christmas as it’ll only be swamped by the Christmas rush.

In other news

I continue to sell the first Princelings book steadily on Smashwords and iTunes.  Occasionally it gets sales on Amazon too.  I thought I’d celebrate by putting a special offer on the second book, the Princelings and the Pirates, so for the whole of October you can get it at Smashwords for just 99c.

I hope you enjoy it.

Now go and visit some other IWSG members and see what they are posting about this month.  The question of the month is:

How do major life events affect your writing? Has writing ever helped you through something?
The awesome co-hosts for the October posting of the IWSG are Dolorah @ Book Lover,Christopher D. Votey, Tanya Miranda, and Chemist Ken!

and don’t forget to work on your entry for the IWSG Anthology, and the WEP Flash Fiction for October!

Thanks, Alex. I’ve spent most of the last 24 hours trying to solve a malware problem on one of my websites. So much for today’s editing stint. Glad that at least I could give the WEP and the Anthology a push!

Great price for a great book! And one of my favorite covers 🙂

Glad to hear you have the editing thing going again. My goal for this month is to get the outline ready for “Death By Library” and be set to start writing Nov. 1. I might even make it, if it rains enough.
