fi50 WheneverWhenever is this month’s prompt for Fiction in Fifty words. You can join in. Just go to Rebecca Douglass’s page for the prompts of the month (the whole year is displayed for you, just in case you want to get ahead).

Then write your 50 words story, post it in your posting place of choice, and put the link into Rebecca’s own post of the month, which usually comes out around next weekend.  I like to get it out ready to post the link 🙂

Whenever

It was because Ma always told me never to put things off.  Everything had to be done NOW, as soon as you thought of it.

Typical teen. “Whenever…” I’d reply.

Now I’m going through the same with my daughter.

Does she think I chose to be a one-parent family?

Next month…

With April fast approaching, I’m busy trying to get all my writing projects done so I can concentrate on Camp NaNoWriMo.

So the Fi50 prompt is ‘Exactly’. I bet I suggested that so I could put it in my X post for the A to Z Challenge. Hm.  It won’t fit now!

The WEP/IWSG prompt is Jewel Box. Despite the advice to post close to the due date, I’ll be posting it about a week early, for J.  It’s a twist on my Carruthers adventures, in case you’ve missed that old upper class twit.

I won a prize in the AtoZ Book Review tour – to write a guest post during April.  You’ll find it on the A to Z Challenge website on Monday 8th. My post on the Story Reading Ape’s site will be up the following Sunday.

I have several flash fiction stories and excerpts for your entertainment in the April A to Z Challenge.  You may remember them, but I hope you enjoy revisiting them. One even reminded me of something I wanted to do in the last Princelings book. That’s my Camp Nano project: to write both Chronicles of Marsh and Princelings Revolution during April.  Since I don’t know where one starts and the other ends, I decided to just write to the end of story and sort it out afterwards.

I’m also taking a week off, and if I can’t comment properly with my iPad, I’ll catch up on your comments when I get back.

You have a busy April lined up! So do I, but it won’t be writing :).

BTW, comments on your blog work fine from the iPad if you use Chrome instead of Safari. Ditto for my blog.

Got my #Fi50 post up today, all out of my usual schedule. Thanks for linking!

Good to know you’ve got comments working. Not sure I would use Chrome, so we’ll see.
