spacetimereads Spacetime reading challengeHi there, Spacetime Reading Challenge buddies!  It’s halfway through the year – so how are you doing?

My Spacetime Reading Challenge progress

I’m at 7 out of my target of 10 (Interstellar Explorer).

I feel I’m not reading enough scifi for my taste, but it’s partly because I took too many new books from Netgalley. Also, I read some of the Goodreads Space Opera Group books of the month and didn’t much care for them. I need to read more books on my TBR.  That isn’t difficult, because I have a slew of unread books from past StoryBundle bundles.

You can check all the books I’ve read here.

I think my favourite so far this year has been Dining Out with the Gas Giants, but then it is the third I’ve read in the series, so I’m a fan. Cosmic Collin: Hairy Hamster Horror was a great children’s part-graphic read!

StoryBundle.com

If you’ve never heard of StoryBundle, this is how it works… and I’ve copied this straight from the email announcing a great new scifi bundle, which will probably only be around for another week or so (my email came on 19 June).

Space is hope.

Space isn’t always hope, not for the people (and creatures) involved in this Space Traveler bundle. Sometimes space is adventure. Sometimes space is scary. And often space is fascinating—like nothing we’ve seen before. – Kristine Kathryn Rusch
