The October update replaces a third quarter update for the SpaceTime Reading Challenge.
The SpaceTime Readers
I hope all of you who signed up are doing well, and keeping your own updates going. I really hope to get round to you all before Christmas comes!
My October update
I’m doing just fine since I’d nearly finished my original target of Interstellar Explorer sometime in August. I even thought I might go for the next one. I read two more books in August that qualified as Scifi, just, but I didn’t feel they fitted the purpose of the SpaceTime element of this challenge. They weren’t set in space, although the novella did consider the stars, and may even have got there in the last line. Hard call. I decided to be strict with myself.
So I’m still at 9 of 10, and I doubt whether I’ve got it in me to fit in another ten this year. I do highly recommend the amazing Unwinding series my Juliana Rew, though. You can see my review of Gin’s Story here.
Hope your Challenge is going well!
Hoo, boy. For some reason 🙂 I forgot about this, and in a quick mental review of my reading this year I don’t think I’ve read ANY SF! How is that even possible?
Well, you’ve been busy. And there’s still 2.5 months left 🙂
Sounds like you made the right call in regards to those stories.
Yes, I think so! Got to find one more before the year end, though.
I’ve finished my commitment (actually finished it in October and forgot to post…). Thanks for hosting this one! Here’s my Wrap-Up Post.
Well done! Sorry I haven’t visited as much as I should have done. I’m opening the challenge for next year at the end of this month.
Well, I have visited everyone, which resulted in adding at least four books to my TBR :O
One blog has disappeared, a couple I couldn’t find whether they were still doing Spacetime Reads or not, but otherwise, people are doing well.
