It’s a long time since I considered any anthology submissions. My mind has been on other things, which are well documented in the blog.
Fortunately I get emails from several anthology editors whom I’d like to support. Mostly I haven’t had enough inspiration to get started. I’m doing my bit by reviewing some of their published ones, though.
Coming Up
Coming up is the IWSG Anthology for 2019 which is published next month, and features stories by Rebecca Douglass and Roland Clarke (both of which I beta read).
Advance news was the IWSG Anthology for 2020 is going to be a science fiction call. I really must get my head together for that.
So, other than that, I’m trying to keep my hand in with the WEP+IWSG bi-monthly call (I’ll miss June unless something amazing happens), and Sue Vincent’s #writephoto.
The spirit is willing, but the brain is befogged.
I do find it hard to do short story submissions while working on novels. I do have a couple of things drafted now, though, since I find it easier to write short fiction than edit while traveling!
