First and most important…
Chronicles of Marsh (book 9)
… is now complete, with chapter illustrations and everything. The epub file is uploaded to Smashwords, and thence to iTunes, Kobo and Nook. The Kindle file will be uploaded later this week.
The chapter illustrations ended as a mixture of re-used pictures, new pictures done on paper then scanned, and new pictures done with iPen on the iPad. I had to redo some in black and white where I’d done colour versions already. I’m still considering the use of colour images – but the size of the resulting file needs consideration! I might do it for the epub file, but not for Kindle.
Chronicles launches on November 14th. See the buying links and pre-orders here.
Princelings of the East (book 1)
I am making progress towards an audiobook of the first Princelings book. It is the shortest, and therefore also the cheapest to produce! If it seems to get the listeners’ attention, I may consider more. I’m also still deciding whether to publish through Audible ACX (Amazon) or Smashwords’ link with Findaway Voices, which distributes to Audible, Amazon, iTunes, Google, etc.
Expected release: early 2020.
Keep us posted on the audiobook adventure. I’d like to do that, but my early explorations suggested it’s prohibitively expensive.
