Vernal equinox

And soon all over Europe

The clocks go forward.

Although I thought we’d got it sorted out in the northern hemisphere, the USA went on to Daylight Saving a couple of weeks back, whereas European countries got their act together some years ago to do it all on the same day – this coming Sunday at 2 a.m.

So I’ll stop getting up at 6 a.m. for a while, till the sunrise catches up with summer time.

Yup, we made the change weekend before last, I think. It’s always harder jumping forward than falling back, but I like the longer daylight hours in the afternoon,
    Funny how time flies
Forward in spring, back in fall,
    Playing our body’s clock

I tend to wake up with the sun regardless of what the clock’s doing. So I’m up at 6 this week. It’ll be 7 next, so back to normal!

    Hate sending the boys
Off to school in total dark
    But the sun comes back.

I agree – I hate going to school or work in the dark. I don’t mind coming home in it.
