May is nearly done –

Young birds fill lush trees and grass.

Nearly flaming June.

I was doing something near the fat balls I hang out for the birds when a young Great Tit (like a chickadee) hopped up and started helping himself to the fat like a pro.  Yesterday he’d been sitting next to it while his dad fed him.  Kids grow up so fast!

This is, indeed, Lush, Jemima. You have a gift.

Love your post. I am also entranced by birds – we have a feeder outside our family room window and I could watch them all day – we even have a pair of hairy woodpeckers and red-bellied woodpeckers.
    Outside my window
Male birds are feeding their mates
    Hoping for babies

Birds are limited in my yard. But bees. . .

    California
    Poppies blooming, filled with bees.
    Everything likes sun.

We have been inundated with rain today – and more forecast for tomorrow. We have to make the most of our sun when we get it!!

I don’t know if it’s just me or if perhaps everyone else experiencing issues with your blog.
It appears as if some of the written text in your content are running off the screen. Can somebody else please
comment and let me know if this is happening to them
too? This might be a problem with my browser because I’ve had this happen previously.
    Many thanks
