Just before I went to camp, I contacted the MG BookElves about plans for the coming winter holiday season, to see who would be interested in contributing to another Anthology.  I also gave them some updates on our sales figures (free sales included), which aren’t spectacular, but aren’t bad, either.

The good news is that many members of the group responded positively about a short story for the second book, so that will be going ahead.  I’ve set a target release date of November 12th, so you can stand by to pre-order or whatever you;’d like to do to make sure you get it when it comes out.  We’ll do a free ebook (99c on Amazon unless they price match) and a low price paperback again.

We’ve now got a Facebook page for the BookElves, it had to be MG BookElves on the title, as there seem to be other groups of Book Elves around!  You can like it using the button at the side – like the Viridian series at the same time, if you like.

I’m writing another adventure of Dylan and Dougall for it – I think.  I haven’t started yet, although I must complete the first draft by the end of the month.  I’m thinking of revisiting an idea I had for the Princelings website a couple of years ago; I decided it wasn’t closely enough related to the Princelings books to be a good advert, and I wrote Fred’s Yuletide Escape for the website instead.  That’s too much ‘into’ the Princelings story to go into the Anthology, though, so it’s a return to Dylan and Dougall encountering a lost reindeer.  I think that’s about as far as I got.

I have too many stories going on in my head at present.  I must sit down and write them, one by one, and stop pressuring myself to do everything at once.

Watch this space to see if I make it!

Glad to be a part of this. I better get cracking on my story (it’s underway) it will be called…

    Melvin Finklestein’s Christmas Crack-up.

Melvin (a mad inventor) and his assistant, Neil (a Rhino beetle) are lovable characters from my book TIME SQUARE | UFO.

You’ll get there. I sympathize about too much at once, though. My story about Halitor at Midwinter is creeping along.

I love the sound of that!

I’ve just changed the title of mine to Dougall’s Reindeer Adventure, since he has the bulk of the fun in it 🙂 It’s on the long side at 7,200 words, but I think that was roughly what my last year’s one was. I’ll wait to see how the others come in before a bigger edit.
