Once more into a micro-flash fiction story, 50 words to a prompt from the maestro Bruce Gargoyle.  Why don’t you join in at The Bookshelf Gargoyle?  This month…

The Squeaky Wheel

Life was hard for Ron ‘the Cat’ Regis.  Since the gang got caught he’d sold the Jag, then the Audi, and finally the beat-up old Ford Capri. Now he was back to burgling.  With a secondhand wheelbarrow.

Strange that he hadn’t got caught until after he’d oiled the wheel.
