Trick-Or-Treat Blog hop is back again, thanks to Patricia Lynne.

It’s Halloween – and it’s time for you to take a trip round those people who are giving you treats this month: FREE BOOKS!

Dylan and Dougall’s Adventures

I’m giving you a very special treat.  Last year I wrote a special story, Dylan and the Lights of Ulva to help raise money for the Ulva Buy-out. Ulva is a small island off the coast of Mull (Scotland). The islanders had the opportunity to buy the island they lived on.  I’m pleased to say that despite my very small contribution, they raised all the money (with generous help from the various Community Funds, and probably some EU money) and subject to final legal bits and pieces, they are now implementing their community plans.

That’s in the past.

dylan lights of ulva coverDylan and the Lights of Ulva is an MG novella featuring Princelings Dylan and Dougall. This pair of reprobates have both been seen before, on the Princelings website in a Christmas serial, and in both BookElves Anthologies.  Dylan sees some strange lights on the island, and tries to follow them, despite being warned off by his uncle. It’s somewhat suitable for Halloween, since it’s mysterious and spooky, but it’s safe for people of nervous dispositions!

Its normal price is $2.99 but the first 20 purchasers can pick it up FREE with coupon code MT34B.

You can get the first Dylan & Dougall Adventure free: Dylan’s Yuletide Journey.

There are several other free books on my Smashwords pages to get you interested in my writing. I’d appreciate reviews if you read any of them.  I should also point out that the first Princelings Box Set is excellent value at £6.99, too.

I’m so glad to hear that the people of Ulva are able to buy their home!

I’ll vouch for the story being a good one, as are they all 🙂

      Thanks for your support!
BTW my ipad is being iffy at commenting as well.

something’s weird with iOS and blogs, I think. My ipad won’t let me comment on my own blog. I can be logged in on the page where I compose things, and that’s fine, but if I look at the blog it won’t recognize I’m logged in, no matter how many times I do it. I wonder if they’ve put on some automatic ad blockers or security that prevents it? I had trouble with my new laptop until we disabled several of those things.

I can’t log in to my blogger page – or at least when I do I get the back office, so I can post and do things from the layout menu, but I can’t edit it from the live page. I don’t think it’s going to let me comment either. Do you have that problem?
If people only have the Google account allowed for comments (as opposed to Name/URL and anonymous user as well) I can’t comment on their blogs. Infuriating.

Thanks, Deb – I picked up your book too, but had trouble commenting. Mind you – I was on my iPad and I think that is sometimes iffy about commenting (it didn’t on here, either)
