The SpaceTime Reading challenge needs a sign up post to circulate widely. It would be great to attract reading addicts who want to try space scifi and timetravel genres for the first time, but hardened scifi addicts are always welcome!
As the year goes on I keep my list on my SpaceTime Reads page, which also contains all the details of the Challenge and the current sign-up list. To save you nipping over there…
SpaceTime Reads details
- You can read any book that is from the science fiction/time-travel genres. Any sub-genres are welcome as long as they incorporate one of these genres.
- Non-fiction is not included in this challenge.
- You don’t need a blog to participate but you do need a place to post your reviews (even one-liners) to link up. (blog, Goodreads, booklikes, shelfari, etc.)
- Make a goal post and link it back here with your goal for this challenge.
- Books need to be novellas or novels, although anthologies count if they meet the page guideline. (At least 100 pages +)
- You may count books that you do not want to finish if you have read at least 25%, or 100 pages, whichever is MORE. If you have read enough to give a fair mini-review that’s fine.
- Crossovers into other challenges are fine.
- The Challenge runs from Jan. 1st to Dec. 31st.
The Targets
There are 4 levels to aim for (or achieve):
- 5 books: Planet hopper
- 10 books: Interstellar explorer
- 20 books: Galactic navigator
- 40 books: To Infinity and Beyond
I considered not running this challenge in 2022, but then I got a whole load of scifi books from the library, and it would be a shame not to count them! Please spread the word anywhere you talk about scifi/time travel books.
Going to try again. I’d like to get back to reading more SF, since I kind of like dabbling in writing it 😀
Welcome back to the western hemisphere 🙂

I can propose a summary of my reviews in english on Goodreads but my review on my blog are in french. Can I still participate ?
Yes, that’s fine. It might even help me with my French 🙂
Great 🙂
And me with my english…

Hello, I can’t register for your challenge … How do I do it?
Hello Nette. Did you try to “Click here to enter” below where Light and Smell has their name? That should open a form for you to add your name, a link to your blog or reading challenge, and your email for security.
Let me know if that doesn’t work for you.
