I’ve added a new page for the chapter illustrations for Pirates.
Although I’m still doing most of them with pen and pencil, I liked the extra texture that one of the ones for Princelings of the East got (Window at Castle Vexstein), so I did a lot of layering of the Prologue picture. That shows Chateau Dimerie at night in the mist and fog. For the next chapter (well, it’s chapter 1 to be precise) I’ve cheated and re-used my Castle Buckmore picture. Which makes me wonder whether they should all have little bit of layering just for added texture. Or of course I could revert to my Chateau Dimerie picture here and add mist and fog by hand. What do you think?
