Yes, it’s Theme Reveal time for this year’s A to Z Challenge.
It’s not essential to have a theme if you’ve decided to join in the Blogging from A to Z April Challenge. It’s just – well, many of us find it easier to do it with a theme than ad hoc. And today comes the first trial of the AtoZ’s new system; instead of signing up as we used to, we put a link to our posts on the AtoZ blog’s own theme reveal post of the day.
So, hopefully I’ve remembered to link this on that post. And you’ve visited me from that, or from A2Z’s Facebook or Twitter streams.
If not, you’re here because you know me 🙂 Thanks, buddy!
So… this year’s theme is…..
My Blog
What?
Well, you may remember I spent most of February prevaricating. In fact, mid-month I decided not to do it, and to blog as usual, but tie the ‘normal’ posts to the letters of the day. When I wrote those down I realised that, although I don’t post every Wednesday, I do at least twice in the month. That meant I was only skipping Tuesdays and Thursdays. And when I wrote those missing letters down, I spotted a huge opportunity….
Willoughby the Narrator to launch on W-Day
W is on April 27th. And my new book is called Willoughby the Narrator, and April the 27th is as good a day in April to launch it as any other day.
So, if you’ve not got your W post ready (and even if you have) would you like to join me in a Release Day party? And would you like to do a Book Blast post that day as well? If so, please click here to get your name on the Rafflecopter and grab the details.
So yes, I am blogging from A to Z in April in my usual fashion, with a few extra posts; a return to the Tuesday haiku is likely. That will give new visitors a much better idea of what my blog is all about. I hope you enjoy it.
And I’ll be running a giveaway or a special offer all month, too.
Hi Jemima – I’ll be by to see what you let us know about your blog and I’m sure you’ll have helpers for your 27th Release day … take care and I’ll be emailing you … cheers Hilary
Thanks, Hilary. BTW there are two newcomers aged six weeks who are currently living with Percy. See George’s GP world next week for pictures!
Sounds intriguing! I’m not participating but I’ll be following my blogging friends who are.
I like people who follow 🙂 But I don’t think we’d have met if you hadn’t done it that year.
No, that’s true. I have quite a few blogs that I connected with over the two years I did the challenge.
I love the cover of that book. I don’t know where I am going, but that’s what an Unknown Journey is all about.
And we can all come of the journey with you! Thanks for visiting 🙂
I’m fascinating with all the unusual idea people come up with for the challenge. This is one of the things I love abotu it 🙂
Have a great time.

The Old Shelter – Theme Reveal – 1940s Film Noir
I agree, Jazz. This was the third (at least) version I came up with, after long thoughts on the question ‘who are my readers’ Looking forward to yours again this year!
Sounds like a unique approach 🙂 I will be checking back to see how it’s going.
Finding Eliza
Thanks, Kristin. ‘Unique’ I like that!
Yay! I will get to read a wide variety of topics then! Happy A to Z, Jemima 🙂
Sawasdee Thailand at Kohl Eyed Me
Indian Dishes at Something’s Cooking
I’m looking forward to your recipes!
Sounds like it all worked out for the best! 🙂 Looking forward to learning more about your blog through the A to Z posts. Cheers!
Debbie @ The Doglady’s Den
Thanks, Debbie. I suppose I’d better add some more posts about it and not just do the usual eclectic mix!
I can add to my W post about your release. Email me at patricialynne07(@)gmail(.)com and I’ll get it set up. =)
Thanks Patricia. I’ve emailed you. You can click the link under Contacts in the menu as well: http://jemimapett.com/contact/book-launch-sign-form/
Sounds like a nice tie-in. Good luck during April!
Thanks, Nick. I’ll be over to visit soon!
I totally missed that they were running a theme reveal, but I was off in the desert looking at wildflowers anyway, and couldn’t have dealt with it (okay, I did have phone reception, so strictly speaking I could have done it, but geez, I can’t even SEE that little screen, let alone do blog stuff!).
I’ll be posting Willoughby on the 27th…and featuring characters from my own and friends’ stories on other days (keep an eye out for others from the Princelings series!).
Well, I missed the word ‘new’ for Chuck’s challenge on Friday. I’m sure to enjoy your wildflower pics in due course 🙂
As someone who was personally ‘launched’ (or born) on April 27th, I think you’ve got a very good launch day.
Good luck with the launch and challenge!
