Flying machines feature more strongly in the Princelings series as time goes on.
I took the opportunity to visit Shuttleworth Air Museum on their annual Festival of Flying at the weekend.
This post’s especially for Paul 🙂
…and for #30DaysWild – the Random Act of Wildness was the Red Kite that flew around with the Bristol Blenheim & Avro Anson. I could only get a blurred photo of it, though.
One day of research into flying machines
That is awesome. I’ve always wanted to see an airshow, but haven’t had the chance yet.
Fantastic pictures, Jemima! Is that a Fairley Firefly in the fourth? I’ve only seen them in museums, never in the air. That’s why getting to an airshow at Shuttleworth or Duxford is high on my to-do list. Lots of planes over there now for the D-Day 75th, it must be spectacular.
