Influenced is another wonderful story from Patricia Josephine (writing with her YA author name). The words lower down on the cover ask ‘Can Dark Co-exist With Light?’

Influenced

by Patricia Josephine

Influencers are the voices that whisper in our ears. Tiny Angels and Devils sitting on our shoulders and guiding our choices. They are sworn to thwart the other. It is their duty.

Or so they thought…

Nothing is as it seems and questions are piling up. Do Kale and Ariel have the strength to face the truth? Will Antonia and Landon be forced to choose a side? Can Soleil break through to Kemuel? Three tales, three choices: Light. Dark. Or the shades of gray between.

Which one will win?

Influenced is a collection of sweet fantasy romance short stories that will put a warm feeling in your heart. [goodreads]

My Review

Three quick reads, but a great deal to mull over, as Patricia Josephine creates a system of Influencers who may or may not operate according to the laws (or guidelines) laid down by their superiors.

These tales are very cleverly written, bringing delight to the reader, yet leaving some questions unanswered. Points to ponder, in fact. There are links between the characters of different stories, so the collection holds together well. And it may be fantasy, but the situations are very real world. I gave it five stars.

Having trouble finding the energy to reply at present, let alone blog. Poor Locksley missed out on his Guinea Pig World post this week 😮

Nice review, and makes me think I might even be able to read a romance :). Sorry to hear you aren’t doing well.

I am sorry you are doing poorly, Jackie. I hope things will improve. Find another MD?
Thanks so much for the birthday greetings, and scritches to the boys.

The main issue for blogging is that I can really only do an hour a day on the computer. Of course, that means two once I start. So the things that have to be done get done first. And then I have to rest the hands for the rest of the day. I have just got an audiobook from the library to help me, as even tapping the kindle or ipad doesnt help.
I have an appointment in mid September, where I will be asking to be sent for tests as this seems more extensive/progressive than the websites suggest. Several people have muttered polymyalgia rheumatica to me, but it needs tests done, whatever it is.
